There is magical place called Aow Leuk in the southern part of the island of Ko Tao in Thailand that really has something to offer.
A reasonably quiet beach (in July), transparent water perfect for snorkelling and trying diving for the first time, a beautiful view with some nice bungalows.
To top it off a restaurant at the top of the rocks with thick wooden tables serving delicious food. My appreciation of their Fried yellow noodles with vegetables and seafood, with a delicious oyster sauce brought me to this place 4 times in the same week. The friendly waiter was proud and the local owner of this private beach would kick anyone out after 6pm.
